The Printing Industries of America (PIA) has announced the results of the 2019 Premier Print Awards, the world’s most prominent international print competition. This prestigious competition spans 15 countries across the globe and is symbolized by the Benjamin Franklin “Benny” trophy, the most highly-coveted and recognized awards in the print industry. To be honored with a Premier Print Award, submissions must exhibit truly superior production quality and exceptional craftsmanship.
This year, over 2,200 entries were submitted, with 111 awarded the coveted Best in Category honors. Metropolitan Fine Printers continues their proud tradition as one of North America’s most awarded printers by earning its 39th “Benny” for their work on the impressive Costa Palma Brochure, winning Best in Category in Digital Printing—Novelty Books. An additional five Awards of Recognition and nine Certificates of Merit rounded out MET’s collection of awards for another successful year at the Premier Print Awards.
