Canstruction Vancouver, the anti-hunger annual design competition showcasing sculptures made out of canned food, opens to the public this weekend.

This year, the theme is “Who’s Hungry?” Some 22 teams of architects, engineers, and schools are competing, using tens of thousands of cans – all in aid of local food banks.

Their fantastic creations will go on display for the public as giant art exhibits between April 29 and May 13 at the Pendulum Art Gallery and the Rotunda at Pacific Centre.
